Lone Pine is a chef-driven restaurant in Carmel, Indiana, dedicated to genuine hospitality, thoughtful food, and exceptional beverages. We’re growing our team and looking for passionate hospitality professionals who care deeply about creating memorable guest experiences.
We are currently hiring Bartenders/Servers, Servers, and a Lead Host / Host & Server Assistant to join our front-of-house team. Each role is guest-facing and plays a vital part in maintaining the warm, professional, and elevated service standard that defines Lone Pine.

Bartender / Server
This role includes both bar and floor shifts. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their craft, creates genuine connections, and delivers thoughtful, elevated service to every guest.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of bartending or serving experience in a restaurant, cocktail bar, or wine-focused environment
Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, mixology techniques, and spirits
Enthusiasm for classic wines from Napa Valley, Oregon, Washington, and throughout Europe
Curiosity about our culinary program, local farms, and regional purveyors
Attention to detail and precision in service
Team-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and collaboration
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (NYE, Valentine’s Day)
Server
We’re also seeking experienced servers with a warm, professional demeanor and a passion for great food, wine, and hospitality. Our ideal candidate takes pride in providing attentive, genuine service and thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant
Interest in wine, craft cocktails, and understanding how our chef team prepares and presents each dish
Strong attention to detail and consistency in service steps
Friendly, guest-focused attitude and ability to excel in a fast-paced setting
Team player who communicates clearly and supports coworkers
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Lead Host / Host & Server Assistant
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Lead Host sets the tone for the entire dining experience. We’re seeking someone poised, personable, and organized, with a genuine passion for hospitality and the culinary experience we provide.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet and seat guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
Manage reservations and guest flow using OpenTable
Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth pace of service
Support the team with table turns, guest needs, and pacing of the dining room
Handle VIPs, special occasions, and private events with care and attention to detail
Address guest concerns with discretion and efficiency
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a host, lead host, or service support role in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Calm, polished, and composed under pressure
Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems preferred
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
Bartender / Server & Server: Tip pool averaging $30–$37+ per hour
Lead Host / Host & Server Assistant: Average $25 per hour (hourly + tip share)
