Code of the Trail
At Lone Pine, we believe every guest is part of the expedition — a shared journey of good food, good company, and the great adventure of the table. Our team works hard to craft an experience that’s warm, memorable, and rooted in respect for people and place. To keep our campfire burning bright for all, we ask that every explorer follows The Code of the Trail below.
🪶 Respect the Camp
Treat our crew, your fellow adventurers, and the space around you with kindness and respect. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or anything that endangers the comfort of others will bring the journey to an early end. If you’re under the weather, we kindly ask you to rest up and rejoin us when you’re feeling your best. Please alert us to any allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering so we can help guide your trail.
🔥 Trail Etiquette
Keep conversations friendly and mindful — think campfire stories, not megaphones. If you’d like to move tables or pull up extra chairs, please check in with your guide (server) first. Young explorers are always welcome but must stay close to their party to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
⌚ Timing & Reservations
Please plan to arrive at your reservation time — the adventure begins promptly. Running late? Give us a call so we can do our best to hold your spot. For larger parties or private events, our event terms will apply.
🥃 Beverage Boundaries
Alcohol is served to guests 21 and over with valid ID. We reserve the right to pause service if a guest appears impaired. Outside beverages or substances are not allowed on the trail.
NOTE: Lone Pine is in the DORA district, which is generally bounded by the Monon Greenway, Main Street, Range Line Road and Carmel Drive, people of legal drinking age can carry alcoholic beverages in designated cups from one establishment to another.

Participating DORA establishments will have signage visibly displayed in the window of their business. Just look for these images.
🧥 Dress for the Journey
Our atmosphere is relaxed but refined — think “trail casual.” Please avoid clothing with offensive language or imagery. Comfortable, weather-ready attire is always encouraged; you never know where the night may lead!
📸 Devices & Keepsakes
We love when guests capture the adventure. Feel free to snap photos — just keep flash and noise to a minimum. For calls or lengthy conversations, please step outside and enjoy the fresh air. We’re not responsible for lost items, so keep your valuables nearby, but when items are lost on the trail, we do our best to return them to their rightful owners.
🐾 Four-Legged Friends
Service animals are always welcome. Otherwise, we kindly ask that pets remain home so all explorers can enjoy a comfortable camp.
